AS Tyres is Kathmandu's trusted tyre expert — an authorised distributor for eight premium brands, fitted by technicians trained by the manufacturers we stock. Every tyre carries a DOT code we print on your receipt.

Since 2018

Origins

S Tyres began as a natural extension of AS Mobility's work keeping cars running safely across Nepal. Drivers we already knew asked us the same three questions every week — where to buy a genuine tyre, who to trust for fitting, and how to know the tread on the sidewall matched the year on the receipt. In 2018 we opened a workshop in Kalanki to answer all three.

The first few months were quiet by design. We wanted every casing that left our doors to be traceable — bought from an authorised distributor, fitted by a technician manufacturer- trained, and inspected before the customer drove off.

Growth

The 2020 lockdowns changed how we work. Doorstep delivery turned from a nice-to-have into the default. We fitted tyres in driveways, in parking basements, and at office car parks across the valley — sometimes with a security guard timing us from the gate.

By 2023 the Kalanki shop couldn't hold the demand, so we moved to Banasthali. The new bay has proper alignment rigs and balancing stations, and enough covered parking that most jobs finish before lunch.

Today

We stock over 200 tyre sizes across eight premium brands, plus accessories and batteries chosen with the same discipline. Passenger cars, SUVs, commercial vans, and two-wheelers all leave with a fitting report and a printed DOT code.

The team is what makes it work. Repeat customers know us by name, and we know their cars by number plate. That's the standard we're keeping.

04 — TIMELINE

Four milestones in.

  1. 2018

    Opened doors in Kalanki.

    One workshop, four brands, two technicians. A single promise: only genuine tyres.

  2. 2020

    Delivered through the lockdowns.

    Doorstep fitting became the norm. We serviced cars in customer driveways when shops couldn't open.

  3. 2023

    Moved to Banasthali.

    A larger service bay with alignment rigs and balancing stations. Same team, bigger workshop.

  4. 2026

    8 brands, 200+ sizes, same-day service.
